Libraries
Libraries
The Patricia Davis Klingenstein ’47 Library is located in the Lower School building and serves students in the Early Childhood through 4-5 programs, while the The Marjorie Robinson Thaxter Library (located in the Emery Building) serves students in grades 6 through 12. Both libraries are open to all Waynflete students to conduct academic research, to access books, audiobooks, and DVDs, and to find a quiet place to enjoy a book.
The school maintains an extensive collection of ebooks and audiobooks in its online “Overdrive” collection (students can use the Sora! app or a web browser to read or listen). The digital library is open to students year-round. Books not found in in the Waynflete Library collection may be requested through the interlibrary loan.
Waynflete’s Thaxter library is lead by librarians Emily Graham and Sam Stuart ; the Lower School Klingenstein Library is lead by Laurel Daly. All three Waynflete librarians frequently collaborate with faculty members to help support student learning and research across a variety of subjects.
